Workers Vow to Take Van in Upsurge of Songun Revolution

Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Workers in the fields of power, coal and metal industries and railway transport of the DPRK swore to take the lead in
effecting a great upswing in the Songun revolution in response to the joint New Year editorial.
This vow was voiced at rallies of the employees of factories and enterprises in the above domains held to carry out up to the hilt the militant tasks laid down in the joint editorial this year.
At the employees meeting of the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex, all the officials and employees were urged to fulfill the yearly plan for power and hot water production with flying colors through a high-pitched drive to implement the tasks put forth in the joint editorial.
At the rally of the February 8 Jiktong Youth Coal Mine, the miners pledged to decisively boost coal production by displaying a high degree of patriotic zeal with the pride of being coal miners in the Songun era and thus satisfactorily supply coal to the thermal power plants.
At the rally of employees of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex it was stressed to supply a sufficient amount of iron and steel to main domains of the national economy and make a great leap in production.
Workers of the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Plant vowed to launch into a vigorous mass technical innovation movement to successfully ensure railway transport, improve the system and methods of economic management and meticulously organize and command production in order to beat the yearly production targets ahead of time.
