Unity in Mind, Guarantee for Victory in General Onward March

    Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- It is the unswerving will of the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to consolidate the unity in mind, the foundation of the Korean revolution, in every way. In an interview with KCNA, Curator of the Korean Revolution Museum Hwang Sun Hui, an anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter, said that the joint New Year editorial calls for demonstrating the political and ideological might of the revolutionary ranks in which all the army and people are united as one in mind around the headquarters of the revolution.
    Unity in mind is an invincible sword to firmly guarantee the victory of the general onward march for the Songun revolution this year, she said, and went on:
    The army and people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are united in ideology and will and in the sense of morality and obligation behind leader Kim Jong Il on the basis of the Juche-oriented Songun revolutionary idea. It contains all the beautiful and noble things of human world such as affection, loyalty, confidence and obligation.
    It is more powerful than a nuclear weapon and nothing can break this unity.
    The Korean people have won victories in each stage of the revolutionary development with the might of this unity.
    In particular, the "Arduous March" and the forced march eloquently proved the might of the WPK's unity in mind. During the marches, the leader and the people went through all difficulties, the former trusting in the latter and the latter following the former.
    The Korean people's unity is on a higher stage in the era of the Songun politics.
    The Party, army and people have achieved a perfect harmony in the spirit of defending the headquarters of revolution at the cost of their lives and the whole society lives and works with the same idea and stamina with the army as the pillar of the revolution. This is the new feature of the unity in the Songun era.
    The Korean people will certainly make this a fruitful year by making a leap in the efforts for building a great prosperous powerful nation with the might of this unity, the curator added.
