Kim Jong Il's Works Published in Over 100 Countries

Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Famous works of leader Kim Jong Il have been published and disseminated worldwide amid the deep concern of the progressive humankind from the early 1980s.
According to the data available, nearly 810,000 copies of at least 60 kinds of his works have been brought out in collection and booklet by many publishing houses, political parties and organizations of over 100 countries, including the Paleya Publishing House of Russia, the Book Association Publishing House of Cuba, the Lao State Publishing House, the National Education Publishing House of Guinea, the Communist Party of Venezuela and the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy, for more than 20 years.
The Enugu Publishing House of Nigeria and the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association published works "On Preserving the Juche Character and National Character of the Revolution and Construction" and "The Juche Philosophy Is an Original Revolutionary Philosophy" in booklet. Their prefaces said the works clarifying the fundamental principle to be maintained in carrying out the popular masses' cause of independence, the cause of socialism, serve as a powerful ideological and theoretical weapon to cope with the hegemonic "globalization" of the imperialists.
At the ceremony of releasing "On the Juche Idea", a collection of works, which carries works "On the Juche Idea", "On Some Questions in Understanding the Juche Philosophy", "Let Us Advance under the Banner of Marxism-Leninism and the Juche Idea", "On Some Problems of Education in the Juche Idea" and "On Establishing the Juche Outlook on the Revolution" the secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan said that they will study hard the works to have deeper understanding of the Juche idea and actively propagandize it.
Collections of works and booklets published in national languages of over 40 countries have been disseminated in all parts of the five continents, evoking great repercussions from the political and public circles.
The New Communist Party of Britain, the Genuine Lumumbist Patriotic Party of Democratic Congo, the Bangladesh People's League, the Workers' Party of Mexico and other progressive political parties of different countries convened secretariat meetings and emergency meetings to define the works as must books and action programmes. They took various steps to publish, carry and study the works so as to be disseminated among people of all social strata.
Meanwhile, national committees and groups for the study of Kim Jong Il's works were formed in India, Democratic Congo, Denmark, Austria, Peru and many other countries and seminars and lectures on works held on hundreds of occasions every year under the sponsorship of political parties and organizations.
