Song Ho Gyong Dies

    Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Song Ho Gyong, deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, vice-director of a department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and vice-chairman of the Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee (KAPPC), died of a long illness on September 19, Juche 93 (2004) at the age of 63. KAPPC issued an obituary on Sunday.
    According to it, he devotedly worked in the fields of foreign affairs and national reunification for years. He remained intensely loyal to the WPK's revolutionary cause of Songun to the last moments of his life.
    He worked hard for national unity and reunification true to the noble intention of leader Kim Jong Il, the lodestar of national reunification, and contributed to the adoption of April 8 agreement on arranging the historic north-south summit.
