Relief Goods Reach DPRK

Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- The whole quantity of the relief goods including tents, blankets, foodstuff and building materials worth 10 million Renminbi Yuan donated by the Chinese government to the DPRK in connection with the explosion at Ryongchon Railway Station in North Phyongan Province reached there Friday.
Reaching Pyongyang that day were more than 30 tons of relief goods including foodstuff for children, medicinal drops and medicines donated by the Syrian government to the DPRK.
Present at the airport were Ri Yong Sok, vice-chairman of the DPRK Flood Damage Rehabilitation Committee, officials concerned and Muhammad Adib Alhani, Syrian charge d'affaires ad interim, and embassy officials.
A representative of the Ministry of Health of Syria conveyed them to Ri Yong Sok.
Meanwhile, a large quantity of relief materials including medicines, clothes, foodstuff and building materials came to the DPRK from different institutions, enterprises and individual figures in Shenyang and Dandong of China from April 26 to 29.
