Kim Jong Il Enjoys Performance Given by Art Squad of KPA Unit 324

    Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, enjoyed a performance given by the art squad of KPA Unit 324. The squad put on the stage colorful numbers of various genres including narration and chorus "Thunder on Jong Il Peak", the poetic drama "Let's Remain True to the Faith in the Army to the Last" and chorus "We Will Support the Building of Great Prosperous Powerful Nation with Arms."
    The performers truthfully represented the invincible might of the KPA trained as a matchless army and the unshakable faith and will of the army and people of the DPRK to devotedly defend the headquarters of the revolution and single-heartedly accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche with arms through their performance replete with revolutionary enthusiasm and militant stamina.
    The performance deeply impressed the audience for its high ideological value and artistry.
    After appreciating the performance full of vivacity and dynamism, he expressed great satisfaction over the splendid performance that clearly represented the noble spiritual world of the servicepersons. He warmly congratulated them on their successful performance and extended thanks to them.
    Noting that the art squads of the units have made a great contribution to the education of servicepersons in the days of the Songun politics and achieved leaping progress, he set forth important tasks which would serve as guidelines in further developing mass culture and art among servicepersons.
    Also among the audience were KPA Generals Ri Myong Su, Hyon Chol Hae and Pak Jae Gyong, Ri Yong Chol, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, and servicepersons.
