U.S. Dangerous Attempt to Launch Nuclear War Denounced
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK
Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The U.S. hard-line conservative forces are pushing for the change of the present nuclear weapon system and the possession of nukes causing less additional destruction under the pretext of "threat" of the DPRK and other countries "to the U.S. security."
In this regard Rodong Sinmun today in a signed commentary says: This call of the U.S. bellicose forces is, in essence, aimed to make a nuclear war against other countries an established fact and step up its preparations for this war.
This is nothing but a brigandish logic intended to contain other countries with nukes and bring them under its control.
Those countries which the Bush group termed "dangerous states", "rogue states" are anti-imperialist independent countries.
The "proliferation security initiative" touted by the Bush group only brings to light the arbitrary motive of the nuclear warmongers to deter other countries from having military deterrents for self-defence and dominate the world with nukes as they please. The U.S. is putting military pressure upon the DPRK and amassing armed forces for war in and around south Korea under the pretext of the "nuclear and missile threat" from the DPRK, escalating the tensions on the Korean peninsula. This is aimed at igniting a nuclear war on the peninsula.
The U.S. imperialists' moves for a nuclear war which have become more reckless as the days go by only harden the resolution and will of the army and people of the DPRK to bolster the physical deterrent force to defend the sovereignty of the country.
The U.S. option for a nuclear war would only precipitate its own self-destruction.
