Founding Anniversary of Conservation Office of RMC Observed

Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held at the People's Palace of Culture on April 5 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Conservation Office of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery.
The cemetery located on Mt. Taesong in Pyongyang is a grand monument associated with the noble intentions and immortal leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il to perpetuate the memory of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners and carry forward the revolutionary traditions of Juche generation after generation.
The office, founded on April 5, Juche 43 (1954), contributed to glorifying forever the great leadership exploits of the Party and the leader and the lofty revolutionary spirit of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners through the conservation and management of the cemetery and education at it in the past 50 years.
At the meeting a congratulatory message of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to officials and employees of the office was conveyed by Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the C.C. of the WPK.
A report was made at the meeting and then followed speeches.
