U.S. termed World's Biggest Gangster

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK

Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article brands the U.S. as an unprecedented gangster, the world's worst robber as it came into being with the disposition and nature as a gangster. It says: The Korean peninsula has witnessed a vivid manifestation of the U.S. aggressive and brigandish nature. The last Korean war was the most typical brigandish war of aggression, state-sponsored terrorism perpetrated by the U.S. imperialists in the 20th century.
Since the ceasefire the U.S. imperialists have incessantly resorted to the reckless military threat and blackmail against the DPRK and moves to start a new war against it, persistently raising a hue and cry over "threat" from somebody.
The U.S. brigandish nature finds a clear expression in the fact that it has persistently pursued sanctions and blockade and interference in others' internal affairs to strangle those countries aspiring after independence, socialism and progress. It is evidenced by the recent renewed passage of a bill on sanctions against Syria through U.S. Congress.
The U.S. brigandish nature can be also proved by the fact that it is meddling in the internal affairs of other countries, assessing the "human rights situation" there with "human rights standards" of its own style and pulling them up over that issue as it pleases.
The U.S. unilateral acts, defiant of even international law, only bring to light its true colours as an international gangster. It is due to the U.S. brigandish acts that the international arena witnesses the abnormal and complicated situation where justice and progress are trampled underfoot and peace and stability disturbed.
Progressive humankind should clearly see through the aggressive and brigandish nature of the U.S. and struggle against it.
