Monuments to Revolutionary Sites Built

Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Monuments to the revolutionary sites of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il have been built on the Sammyo Cooperative Farm in Kangso County, South Phyongan Province, the Tongju Cooperative Farm in Pyokdong County, North Phyongan Province and the Poku Cooperative Farm in Sinchon County, South Hwanghae Province and a monument to the revolutionary site of Kim Jong Il at a branch factory of the Kusong Machine-tool Plant.
Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il visited the Sammyo Cooperative Farm on April 28, Juche 36 (1947) and October 13, Juche 53 (1964) and other days to teach it to increase grain production, develop fruit farming and livestock breeding, spruce up rural houses and intensify class education among youth and children.
The President visited the Tongju Cooperative Farm on October 10, Juche 46 (1957) and on July 11, Juche 52 (1963) to indicate concrete tasks to diversify agricultural management to improve the living standard of farmers.
Kim Jong Il visited the farm on August 6, Juche 55 (1966) to lay stress on developing livestock breeding and sericulture and building up villages into a socialist modern countryside as taught by the President.
The President gave on-the-spot guidance to the Poku Cooperative Farm on January 26, Juche 51 (1962) and other days and Kim Jong Il on January 26, Juche 51 (1962) and on August 19, Juche 53 (1964).
Kim Jong Il visited the branch factory of the Kusong Machine-tool Plant on January 25, Juche 89 (2000) and on February 14, Juche 90 (2001) to clarify the way of producing machine tools of our type and the way of building up the factory on a modern line.
Unveiling ceremonies of the monuments were held at relevant units.
