DPRK denies involvement in Pakistani nuke-tech transfer
PLA Daily 2004-02-11
PYONGYANG, Feb. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Tuesday refuted the allegation over the "transfer of nuclear technology" from Pakistan to the DPRK.
A DPRK Foreign Ministry spokesman said the allegation is "nothing but a mean and groundless propaganda."
On Feb. 1, Pakistan nuclear scientist Qadeer Khan admitted during investigation that he had leaked nuclear secrets to Libya, Iran and the DPRK.
He said it had nothing to do with the Pakistani government and army.
