Union members meet former unconverted long-term prisoners

Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- Officials of the central committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and union officials and members of ministries and national institutions met the former unconverted long-term prisoners, patriotic champions of reunification, on may 28.
Ri Kyong Gu and Pak Wan Gyu, former unconverted long-term prisoners, said that they kept their pledge and political principles for the sake of the revolution at the cold prison in the south and came back to the socialist homeland as proud sons of the country because moral obligation to the party and the leader and confidence in revolutionary victory were enshrined in the heart.
They pointed out that former unconverted long-term prisoners, leading a happy life to their heart's content at the climax of life, keenly felt that the embrace of leader Kim Jong Il is that of great love taking care of the destiny and future of all revolutionary soldiers.
They asked union officials and members to positively contribute to speeding up the building of a rich and powerful country upholding the Songun idea and leadership of Kim Jong Il with loyalty.
Former unconverted long-term prisoners gave an art performance with chorus "General is a Son of Guerillas", chorus "Song of Struggle at Prison", solo poetry "We Believe in You as in Heaven" and chorus "We Will Defend the Headquarters of Revolution with Our Lives" and so on.
