Seminar on Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary line held

Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- Officials of the Korean Democratic Women's Union held a seminar on leader Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary line here yesterday.
Speakers said that President Kim Il Sung's idea and line of giving importance to arms, military affair constitute the foundation and the starting point of the Songun policy of the Workers' Party of Korea. Kim Jong Il has pursued the Songun policy to defend the outstanding military idea and immortal exploits of Kim Il Sung, glorify them on a new high stage and pave the way for a victory of the Juche cause, they noted, and stressed:
Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership, Songun policy is a mode of revolutionary leadership and a socialist political mode which require considering military affair as the most important state affair and defending the fatherland, the revolution and socialism and stepping up socialist construction as a whole in reliance on the revolutionary spirit and combat power of the people's army.
Praising the WPK's Songun revolutionary line as a scientific revolutionary line and a political mode that reflect the requirements of the times and revolution most correctly, they explained that its validity and invincibility have been proved in revolutionary practice.
