National seminar held

Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- A national seminar on the idea that the headquarters of the revolution, single-hearted unity and socialism represent one community united by the destiny took place at the People's Palace of Culture on April 22.
It heard several papers titled "'the idea that the headquarters of the revolution, single-hearted unity and socialism represent one community united by the destiny' is a revolutionary principle that clarifies a fundamental problem arising in the accomplishment of the socialist cause" and "the single-hearted unity of the party, the army and the people around the leader is an eternal source of vitality of socialism," etc.
Speakers cited a lot of facts to clearly prove the originality, justness and tremendous vitality of the idea and theory that the headquarters of the revolution, single-hearted unity and socialism represent one community united by the destiny expounded by Kim Jong Il from a new angle and referred to the theoretical and practical issues in applying them.
Kim Jong Il, basing himself on the theory of the leader being a center and the original idea of socio-political organism, set out the idea that the headquarters of the revolution is the core of the single-hearted unity, they noted, and went on:
The headquarters of the revolution is the core of the single-hearted unity because the leader plays a decisive role in uniting the army and people as an integral whole and unbreakable single-hearted unity can be achieved only when the party, the army and the people unite close around the leader as pure organism worshipping and devotedly defending the leader.
Present at the seminar were Choe Thae Bok and Jong Ha Chol, secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of central and Pyongyang city party and power organs and working people's organizations, in the fields of science, education, culture and art and the press and officials in the domain of preserving revolutionary sites and the party cadre-training institutions.
