Oratorical meeting of agricultural workers held

Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- An oratorical meeting of agricultural workers took place in Wonhwa-ri, Phyongwon county, South Phyongan Province, on April 22 to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the heroic Korean people's army.
Present there were Sung Sang Sop, chairman of the c.c., the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, and other officials concerned and agricultural workers in the county.
Orators made speeches entitled "Long Live the Great Songun Sun," "Charming," "Flower Loved By the Leader," "the Greatest Patriotism," "the General and the Earth" and "Our Life and Soul," referring to the proud history of our revolutionary armed forces shining as the army of the three generals of Mt. Paektu.
Under the experienced and tested leadership of President Kim Il Sung and supreme commander Kim Jong Il, the Korean People's Army has been strengthened and developed into the main force that accomplishes the revolutionary cause of Juche and an invincible army capable of defeating any formidable enemy, they noted.
It is the duty of the agricultural workers to increase the agricultural production, the mainstay for the building of a great prosperous power, as soon as possible under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il, they said, laying stress on devoting themselves to the country through a heroic struggle.
