All-people resistance against U.S. called for

Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the National Democratic Front of South Korea issued a statement on April 19 on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the April Popular Uprising, said Seoul-based radio Voice of National Salvation.
He said that the April Popular Uprising was an eruption of the pent-up wrath of the South Korean people against the U.S. colonial rule and a daring manifestation of all people's desire and will to bring about an independent and democratic new politics, a new life.
The desire of the April 19 fighters 43 years ago has not yet been realized, he said, stressing: the present reality clearly shows that our people can neither be freed from the colonial yoke of slavery nor evade the holocaust of a nuclear war as long as the U.S. imperialist aggression troops remain in South Korea.
He called upon the patriotic people from all walks of life to preserve the spirit and experience of the April 19 resistance and conduct a more vigorous all-people resistance against the U.S.
