Japan's anti-peace act flayed

KCNA

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are keen to continue launching spy satellites in the future, too, giving shouts of joy over the "successful" launching of spy satellites this time. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun today says in a signed commentary:
Japan's launching of spy satellites is another criminal act threatening peace and stability in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world as it is part of Japan's moves to militarize space.
Japan's moves to launch spy satellites are getting all the more dangerous as they are timing to coincide with the U.S. imperialists' invasion of Iraq. Worse still, the moves, the anti-peace acts, are sparking a new arms race and Cold War.
That's why some countries will not remain a passive onlooker to Japan's moves to establish a space spy system but take corresponding steps. It is as clear as noonday that the moves will invite a new arms race and cold war. The Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia will be exposed to the greatest danger.
We have already warned that Japan's launching of spy satellites is a hostile act, a grave threat to the DPRK.
Nevertheless, Japan launched spy satellites targeted on the DPRK.
The moves of Japan will bring grave consequences to the worldwide efforts for peace, disarmament and detente and adversely affect peace in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia. Japan should bear full responsibility for the grave consequences to be entailed therefrom.
