KCNA
Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung is the eternal sun of the nation and a lodestar of national reunification as he dedicated his whole life to the country and the nation and performed immortal feats for the cause of national reunification, says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article.
It goes on:
He conducted energetic ideological and theoretical activities with his extraordinary wisdom, thus providing the nation with clear guidelines for national reunification.
He had consistently pursued the one-Korea line, the line of reunification, considering it as the supreme task of the nation to reunify the country ever since the day the country was divided by the outside forces and clearly expounded ideas and theories on national reunification with his clairvoyant wisdom.
The three principles of national reunification -- independence, peaceful reunification and the great national unity--, the 10-point program for the great unity of the entire nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo, products of his energetic ideological and theoretical activities, serve as the great three charters for national reunification.
He had led the cause of national reunification to victory with his most experienced and outstanding leadership.
The Korean nation has frustrated the persistent and vicious moves on the part of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad and successfully pursued the one-Korea line under the energetic leadership provided by Kim Il Sung possessed of deep insight, clairvoyant wisdom, outstanding pluck and stratagem.
His idea of great national unity and noble patriotism serve as a source of strength that has encouraged the Koreans of all social standings to turn out in a struggle to achieve the national unity and reunification.
The immortal feats he had performed for national reunification are the most precious legacy he left to the Korean nation and serve as a reliable boon to achieving the cause of national reunification.
