Middle and primary schools have prepared themselves to put the talent education on a higher level.
Short courses and model lectures for teachers took place in all provinces, cities and counties for the preparations of education in the new school year term.
Though the economic situation of the country is still serious, the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has continued making investments in education to provide schools at all levels with teaching aids, school fixtures and experimental apparatuses.
From the days of the building of a new society after the liberation of the country, the government has directed great efforts to education, steadily maintaining the principle of putting the educational work above anything else.
It was many years ago that the universal 11-year compulsory education was introduced in Korea.
