Illustrious leader of 20th century

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung was the most illustrious leader and veteran statesman of the 20th century.
He served as head of the ruling party and state for five decades, successfully guiding the Korean revolution.
His distinguished ideological and theoretical intelligence, invincible leadership and noble virtues were admired by not only the Korean people but the world people.
He founded the Juche idea, the guiding idea of the era of independence, to make sure that human beings shape their own destiny, responsible for it.
He, basing himself on the principles of the Juche idea, generalized rich experience gained in the revolution and construction and elucidated the idea, theory and method of Juche in an integral way.
After the liberation of the country he successfully accomplished the cause of party, state and army building to lay foundations of the country's development and prosperity and make a new history of popular politics.
The president shared life and death, sweets and bitters with the masses of the people, believing in them absolutely.
He also made undying feats for the world revolution.
He put forward a policy of global independence for the first time in history and made a great contribution to strengthening and developing the non-aligned movement as a powerful force of the anti-imperialist cause of independence.
The man-centered socialist society he built in Korea is a model in the accomplishment of the cause of socialism in the world and a driving force of invigorating the movement to rebuild socialism on a worldwide scale under the banner of independence.
It is a great pride and glory of the Korean people that they have such a great leader as eternal President of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
