Rodong Sinmun on Korean people's spirit of devotedly defending their leader

Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- Though the U.S. imperialists are resorting to every conceivable means and method to destroy our single hearted unity and stifle socialism, they can never break and undermine the revolutionary will and spirit of our army and people who have made the spirit of devotedly defending their leader their physical quality.
Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed article.
The spirit is the noblest revolutionary spirit based on absolute worship for their leader and the transparent revolutionary spirit that has become part and parcel of their daily life in the rigorous revolutionary struggle, the article says, and goes on:
The spirit is being fully displayed in the era of the army-based policy.
The defence of the headquarters of the revolution is the starting point of all their thinking and practice and the whole army and all the people are filled with burning determination to devotedly defend the headquarters of the revolution headed by General Secretary Kim Jong Il. This is the proud reality of our country.
Today our army and people take it as their duty, obligation and conscience to devotedly defend their leader.
It is the trait of defending their leader at the cost of their lives that they sing songs of worshipping and devotedly defending their leader, put the defence of the headquarters of the revolution in the first place of their thinking and practice and are ready to lay down their lives for carrying through his plan and intention.
