Rodong Sinmun on U.S. military policy

Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- Now that the United States is seeking to attack us by force of arms, we have no choice but to take strong counteraction against it.
In case it is considered to be unavoidable, we will do everything we can for our self-defence and settle accounts with the U.S.
Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed commentary on the clamours by Bush and the think tank of the U.S. departments of defense and state and the White House and experts of the Korean issue that military method is best in dealing with the Korean issue.
The commentary goes on:
Loudmouthed "dialogue" and "diplomatic settlement" on the part of the U.S. are no more than a deceptive trick to relax our spirit and ensure the surprise of a forestalling attack.
Now the DPRK-U.S. relationship is in a dangerous state of confrontation with no gunfire.
There is no place for us to step back and we have nothing to make a concession to the U.S.
If the United States acts in reason, the nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula may be settled smoothly. But if it continues military pressure as it is now, the present situation will lead to catastrophic explosion.
Not only the united states but we have option.
The U.S. warmongers should know that it is easy for them to provoke a war against us but it is impossible to survive the war.
