Rodong Sinmun says that Kim Jong Il is a peerless patriot and a legendary great man who created the greatest heroic epic in the history of the Korean nation spanning thousands of years.

Kim Jong Il made the DPRK shine forever as the state of President Kim Il Sung and an invincible "country enforcing the army-based politics." This is the most brilliant exploits he performed on behalf of the country and the people.

The courage and gut of Kim Jong Il, son of guerrillas of Mt.
