Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)

Bush's reckless remarks against DPRK refuted

Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the National Democratic Front of South Korea (NDFSK) issued a statement on Jan. 31 denouncing U.S. President Bush for malignantly slandering the DPRK in his "state of union address," according to Seoul-based radio Voice of National Salvation. The statement said:
Bush dared to term the DPRK a "lawless regime" possessing mass destruction weapons and an "oppressive regime." this is an unpardonable insult and provocation to the Korean nation as it puts his remarks about an "axis of evil" made last year into the shade.
As far as "lawless regime" and "oppressive regime" are concerned, the Bush administration is the regime of such type as it unilaterally scrapped the agreements and treaties it concluded with other countries.
Bush should face up to the trend of the times and behave with discretion.
He should not cling to the foolish and reckless plot to stifle the DPRK, a sovereign state, covering up the truth of history and misleading the world public, but apologize to it.
The U.S. should drop at once its brigandish hostile policy toward the DPRK, stop its nuclear racket and respond to the proposal for the conclusion of a non-aggression treaty between the DPRK and the U.S.
The NDFSK considers any use of force or provocation by the U.S. against the north of Korea as one against the south.
It will never allow the reckless provocation of the bush group but launch a more dynamic anti-U.S. struggle until Yankee aggressor forces have been driven out of South Korea.
