U.S. hostile policy toward DPRK flailed
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization issued a statement on Jan. 22 denouncing the U.S. hostile policy to stifle the DPRK. A grave situation is prevailing on the Korean Peninsula due to the Bush administration's violation of the DPRK-U.S. Agreed Framework, the statement said, adding:Attack on the DPRK, an independent sovereign state, will further worsen the situation in Northeast Asia. We strongly oppose the U.S. plan for preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK, which is contrary to the UN Charter.
The obtaining situation on the Korean Peninsula can be settled only through dialogue and negotiations between parties concerned.
