"Complete Collection of Kim Il Sung's Works" Vol. 52 Published

Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- The 52nd volume of "Complete Collection of Kim Il Sung's Works", a library of the immortal Juche idea, was published. It carries famous works of President Kim Il Sung in a chronological order.
It contains over 30 works such as speeches, concluding speeches and talks Kim Il Sung made from June to September of Juche 62 (1973).
These works were published in the historic period when the Korean people were faced with the urgent tasks to bring about a radical turn in all fields of socialist construction under the uplifted banner of the three revolutions and wage a more vigorous struggle to shatter the moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean authorities to perpetuate the division of the nation and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
The President in his work "Some Tasks in Improving Present Party Ideological Work" underscored the importance and significance of the role of the ideological work in successfully carrying out the socialist cause and put forward tasks to improve the Party ideological work as required by the developing reality.
In various works such as "Concluding Speech Made at the 7th Plenary Meeting of the 5th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea" he advanced a policy on powerfully accelerating the socialist economic construction to attain the main goals of the 6-Year Plan and further augment the economic might of the country.
In his works including "Let Us Prevent a National Partition and Reunify the Country" and "On the Five-Point Policy for National Reunification" the President referred to the five-point policy of national reunification the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea newly clarified at home and abroad.
In "On Some Tasks before the Officials of Chongryon", "Compatriots in Japan Should Positively Struggle for the Reunification of the Country and Democratic National Rights" and other works he clarified policies on strengthening and developing the movement of Koreans in Japan.
This collection also contains works dealing with theoretical and practical issues arising in carrying out the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence.
