Revolutionary Sites Associated with Immortal Exploits of Kim Jong Suk

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- There are in North Hamgyong Province many revolutionary sites associated with exploits performed by anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.
The Sonbong Revolutionary Site is a historical place visited by her in November Juche 34 (1945), upholding the policy of building a new country advanced by President Kim Il Sung.
It includes the Sonbong Revolutionary Museum, monument to the Sonbong Revolutionary Site and the house where she stayed for work.
At Sonbong Port, she made a speech calling upon wharf workers to unite as one and turn out in building a democratic, independent and sovereign nation.
The Chongam Revolutionary Site is located in Chongjin city.
The Haebang-dong lodging where she stayed, the house where she met officials, photo studio, etc. are preserved as they were in the revolutionary site.
At the Haebang-dong lodging, she met her revolutionary comrades-in-arms and inspired them to work hard to implement the policy put forward by the President. On November 28, she met with reporters of the Saegil Sinmun newspaper and told them to explain the policy of building a new country advanced by the President so that the popular masses might take an active part in the efforts for its implementation.
Puryong and Kyongsong counties are also associated with her successful revolutionary activities. She met workers of the Puryong Metallurgical Factory and the Komusan Cement Factory to powerfully inspire them in the efforts for building a new country.
There are more than 330 places associated with her revolutionary activities in different parts of the country.
