Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il Inspects KPA Unit 350

Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, inspected KPA Unit 350.
After acquainting himself with the unit's performance of duty, he went round an education room, a lecture room, a bedroom, a mess hall, a washroom, a daily provision store, an open-air resting place and other places to learn in detail about the living of the servicepersons.
He expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the unit has secured various means and sufficient materials necessary for the ideological education of the servicepersons and entertainment, made an efficient use of the education room and set up excellent supply service facilities so as to provide the soldiers with good living conditions and highly praised it for tenaciously managing its economic life.
He said that in the last few years the appearance of the unit has changed beyond recognition and highly praised the servicepersons of the unit for their many successes gained by displaying the fighting spirit of devotedly carrying out his instructions.
He spared time to see an art performance given by the servicepersons of a company under the unit.
He expressed the expectation and conviction that the officers and men of the unit would resolutely defend with their arms the socialist system and the motherland, precious gains the Korean people achieved at the cost of their blood, before posing for a photograph with them.
He was accompanied by KPA Generals Ri Myong Su, Hyon Chol Hae and Pak Jae Gyong.
