- BUSH / CHINA / NORTH KOREA VOA 09 Dec 2003 -- China says it may be too early for a new round of six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear ambitions. The subject came up during talks (Tuesday) at the White House between President Bush and Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.
- U-S / NORTH KOREA VOA 09 Dec 2003 -- The United States Tuesday rejected North Korea's demand that its return to talks sponsored by China on its nuclear program be contingent on energy aid and other concessions. The State Department called on Pyongyang to drop preconditions and return to the six-party talks on the issue as soon as possible.
