Heightened Alert against Japan Urged
KCNA
Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- The Japanese chief executive cried that the capabilities of the "Self-Defense Forces" should be increased to cope with "terrorism and missile attack". His remark reveals his sinister intention to lull the loud voices of the global community denouncing Japan's open moves for overseas expansion and accelerate arms buildup for overseas aggression at faster pace.
Minju Joson today says this in its signed commentary.
It goes on:
Japan's "Self-Defense Forces" have special mobile forces and warships equipped with an up-to-date Aegis system. Japan does not need to increase the capabilities of "SDF" to cope with "terrorism and missile attack". There is no country that threatens Japan with terrorism and missile attack in the world and, on the contrary, threat is coming to other countries from Japan.
Such moves of the Japanese reactionaries to gratify their invariable ambition for overseas expansion are the most foolish acts as they will drive Japan into a hopeless pit of destruction.
The Japanese ruling quarters would be well advised to think of this and behave with discretion, the commentary concludes.
