Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- The Rakwon Technical Center of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is drawing attention of IT experts.
The center has developed and made economic management software, multimedia introducing big companies including the Korea Taehung General Trading Corporation and CDs advertising new products. Among them is a financial business management program "Junma-2003" which won a state certification.
Though it was formed two years ago, it ranks with the developed IT units of the country.
Belonging to the Korea Rakwon General Trading Corporation, it is engaged in industrializing IT and other up-to-date technologies and technical trade involving patent, knowhow, trademark, joint technical development and information for adventurous investment. It is also conducting general trading activities.
It keeps in close touch with many local scientific, educational and industrial institutions, centers and technical trading companies including the Invention Department of the Academy of Sciences and the Central Scientific and Technological Information Agency.
It has found its way into high-tech and technical markets of China, Russia, Japan and other Asian and European countries and collaborated with foreign businesses.
According to Director Han Sang Un, the center's rapid progress is guaranteed by its some 100 competent technicians. It is striving for collaboration and exchange with many businesses of other countries on the principle of honesty, importance of credit and contract, equality and reciprocity.
