Foreign Diplomats Visit Various Places

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Diplomatic envoys of different countries here visited various places on October 9 on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 58th anniversary of the WPK.
Foreign diplomats from European countries visited the Tower of the Juche Idea where they were briefed on how this splendid edifice was built. After looking round the tower and the groups of sculptures, they enjoyed a bird's-eye view of Pyongyang from the observation platform of the tower.
Meanwhile, diplomats from Asian countries visited the Party Founding Museum. Being briefed on how President Kim Il Sung founded the Party and strengthened it into a powerful party deeply rooted among broad popular masses, they looked round historic relics with keen interest.
The economic and commercial councilors' corps here visited the National Photo Exhibition celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the same day.
They saw photos on the immortal exploits Kim Jong Il has performed by successfully leading the cause of building a great prosperous powerful socialist nation with his unique Songun policy while glorifying revolutionary idea and exploits of Kim Il Sung and the ideological and spiritual traits and the achievements of the Korean People's Army and people.
