Kim Yong Nam Meets Leading Members of South Side's Group

Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a compatriotic talk with the leading members of the south side's group led by Kim Yun Gyu, president of Hyundai Asan of south Korea, that has come here to participate in the opening ceremony of Ryugyong Jong Ju Yong Indoor Stadium at the Mansudae Assembly Hall today.
Present on hand were Kim Yun Gyu and his party, families and relatives of Jong Ju Yong, former honorary chairman of the Hyundai Group, and Jon Mong Hon and figures from all walks of life.
Ri Jong Hyok, vice-chairman of the Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, and officials concerned were present.
On the occasion Kim Yun Gyu said that the stadium was opened with splendor under the particular care of Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il and the deep concern of all the Koreans in the south and north of Korea.
He extended sincere thanks once again to Kim Jong Il for having expressed profound condolences over the sudden death of Chairman Jong Mong Hon in August and extended warm consolation to the widow and him.
Hyundai Asan and I will continuously make every effort for the patriotic work to achieve reconciliation, cooperation, unity and reunification with the great support of the Koreans in the south and the north, he noted.
