  • NK Claims 5-Megawatt Reactor Back Online Korea-Net 10 Oct 2003 -- North Korea said on Friday (Oct. 3) that its 5-megawatt reactor in Yeongbyeon nuclear complex is fully operational and it is ready to extract plutonium from newly irradiated fuel rods.
  • DPRK Claims Right to Increase Nuclear Deterrent KCNA 04 Oct 2003-- The seventh nuclear test under the Bush administration was obviously war hysterics of those seeking to make a nuclear attack on the DPRK at any cost and its direct offspring, says Minju Joson in a signed commentary today. It goes on: The Bush administration which made its appearance in the United States in 2001 listed the DPRK as a part of "the axis of evil" and made it its policy to stifle it by military means including nuclear weapons. This vividly proves that the United States is the world's biggest nuclear criminal and rogue state destroying and disturbing world peace and security while making free with all the pretty phrases about them.
