DPRK-China Cooperation in Quality Certification

Beijing, September 16 (KCNA) -- An agreement on cooperation in quality certification was signed between the State Bureau of Quality Control of the DPRK and the State Certification and Accreditation Administration of China in Beijing on Sept. 15.
Present at the signing ceremony were members of a delegation of the State Bureau of Quality Control of the DPRK led by its Vice-Director Son Pyong Hak and Liang Jie, vice-president of the State Certification and Accreditation Administration of China, and its members.
And a 2003-2004 plan for cooperation in standardization, measurement and quality control was signed on the same day between the DPRK State Bureau of Quality Control and the Chinese State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
