Japan's Anti-DPRK and Anti-Chongryon Moves under Fire
KCNA
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Right-wing gangsters of Japan committed such a grave provocation as swarming to a port where ship Mangyongbong-92 was expected to enter on Sept. 4 and hurling abuses at the ship after its arrival and defaming the DPRK flag.
Rodong Sinmun today in a signed commentary dismisses this as a very serious provocation in the history of the DPRK-Japan relations as it discloses to the world what a dangerous phase the Japanese reactionaries' hostility and confrontation with the DPRK and the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) have reached.
The commentary continues:
We can never remain a mere onlooker to the frantic anti-DPRK and anti-Chongryon provocations committed in Japan as they are getting intolerable despite the repeated warnings of the DPRK and Chongryon.
The recent incident was also committed at the tacit connivance of the Japanese authorities as was the case with all other previous incidents. The recent incident brought into bolder relief the Japanese reactionaries' vicious and sinister aim to deliberately and systematically foster rowdyism of right-wing gangsters under the pretext of "people's sentiment" and thus fan up the atmosphere of enmity towards the DPRK in the Japanese society and pursue the confrontation with it to the last.
The Japanese authorities can never evade the responsibility for the recent serious anti-DPRK provocation.
The Japanese authorities should bear full responsibility for all the consequences to be entailed by its provocative anti-DPRK and anti-Chongryon moves and thoroughly probe the truth behind the provocation, punish those responsible for it and take an immediate measure to prevent the recurrence of such incident.
We will closely follow the Japanese reactionaries' future action.
