Congratulations to Kim Jong Il from Jiang Zemin

Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, received a congratulatory message from Jiang Zemin, chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, on Sept. 3 on his reelection as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the First Session of the 11th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.
The message said that the traditional friendship between China and the DPRK has made steady good progress in recent years and expressed belief that the Sino-Korean friendly and cooperative relations would surely grow stronger thanks to the joint efforts of both sides.
Hoping for the progress and prosperity of the DPRK, the message wished Kim Jong Il greater success in his future work.
