Anti-DPRK Moves of GNP Flailed
KCNA
Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- The Reunification Solidarity of south Korea on Aug. 19 released a commentary titled "The representative of the Grand National Party should make an apology to the nation and quit the political arena."
Grumbling that "the authorities were dragged by the north," the GNP and other anti-reunification conservative forces heaped malignant abuses on them for expressing regret at the frantic racket kicked up by those forces against the north on Aug. 15, the commentary noted, and continued:
At a time when all people were ardently looking forward to the participation of the north side's players team in the Universiad to present another impressive chapter of national reconciliation, the anti-reunification forces came out to block it through an extremely hostile act against the north.
Yet, they accused the authorities of expressing regret at it.
This is like a thief crying "Stop the thief."
It urged Choe Pyong Ryol, representative of the GNP, to apologize to the nation for the rowdyism and quit the political arena and the anti-reunification conservative forces including the GNP to stop their anachronistic moves to fan up confrontation between compatriots.
