Japan's Moves for Reinvasion under Fire

KCNA

Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- Japan's defense chief referring to the issue of the dispatch of the "Self-Defense Forces" overseas including the "cooperation in international peace-keeping operation" in the "2003 white paper for defense of Japan" at a recent Diet meeting, asserted that the SDF should be allowed to conduct activities overseas, free from the framework of "exclusive defense" while tightening the nexus with the U.S. In this regard papers here today say that the principle of "exclusive defense" is the key point in the "Peace Constitution" of Japan, adding that Japan's declaration that it would let the SDF launch overseas expansion free from the principle of "exclusive defense" means its intention to launch reinvasion.
    Rodong Sinmun says:
It is as clear as noonday that when the Japanese reactionaries do away with the "Peace Constitution" and drop the principle of "exclusive defense," the SDF, free from any legal restrictions, will advance into Asia and other parts of the world to conduct undisguised military actions for aggression and disturb peace and stability there.
Japan is actively supporting the U.S. unilateralism and its policy for hegemony.
Lurking behind this is its sinister aim to launch reinvasion backed by the U.S.
Japan's undisguised ambition to start overseas aggression backed by the U.S. is becoming a reality. Its main target is the DPRK.
The army and the people of the DPRK are closely following Japan's moves for reinvasion with utmost vigilance.
Minju Joson says the world today is quite different from what used to be in the past when Japan invaded the continent as it pleased, urging the Japanese reactionaries to face up to the trend of the times, cool down their fever for reckless overseas expansion and behave with discretion.
