S. Korean Army Infiltrates Warships into Territorial Waters of North Side
KCNA
Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Of late the south Korean army illegally infiltrated warships into the territorial waters of the north side in the West Sea to commit military provocations one after another, thus rendering the situation in the waters extremely tense, military sources said.
On August 13 three warships of the south Korean army illegally intruded into the territorial waters of the north side south of Tungsangot, Kangryong County, and sailed in the waters for hours.
Earlier, on August 11 and 12 several warships of the south Korean army illegally intruded into the territorial waters of the north side five times.
Its ceaseless illegal intrusion of the warships into the territorial waters, timed to coincide with such military provocations as bringing tanks to the area very close to the Military Demarcation Line, is chiefly aimed to create a very dangerous atmosphere of confrontation on the land and seas with Ulji Focus Lens joint military manoeuvres for aggression as an occasion and bring the situation to the brink of war.
The south Korean military should be mindful that the reckless military provocations in the West Sea would entail unpredictable consequences and act with discretion.
