Highly Efficient Oxygen Absorbent Developed
KCNA
Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- The catalyst institute of Kim Il Sung University in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has developed an absorbent for the production of fine gas.
The absorbent, badly needed for metal industry and study of high-tech materials, directly reacts with oxygen without hydrogen and other additions to remove it.
According to dr. Kye Yong of the institute, the absorbent can reduce oxygen in the air below 0.1 ppm.
When it is resolved with hydrogen, the absorbent can be regenerated several times.
Its introduction ensures the main quality indices of products and keeps production on a high level.
