Electorate meetings held

Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- Electorate meetings were held at all constituencies in the DPRK from July 13 to 15 to vow to live up with loyalty to the deep trust placed in the voters by leader Kim Jong Il through his open letter.
An open letter he sent to all voters across the country was read out at the meetings first.
The speakers at the meetings said that the nomination of Kim Jong Il as a candidate for a deputy to the 11th Supreme People's Assembly at all constituencies across the country was an expression of the absolute support and trust of all the servicemen and people in the party and the leader.
They noted that the decision of Kim Jong Il, Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army, to have his candidacy registered at constituency no 649 is a striking manifestation of his Songun will as he is determined to accomplish with arms at any cost the Korean revolution started with the arms of revolution.
All the servicepersons and people, remaining boundlessly faithful to Kim Jong Il's Songun idea and politics, are ardently following the Songun idea and firmly upholding the Songun politics and implementing it to the letter, they said, stressing:
All the servicepersons and people should take an active part in the election for the strengthening and development of the government of the republic and demonstrate to the full the stamina and might of the Songun nation in the sacred struggle for the prosperity of our country.
