National cooperation called for

KCNA

Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- The situation on the Korean peninsula growing tenser as the days go by due to the U.S. imperialists' moves to start a nuclear war against the DPRK calls upon all the Koreans to strengthen national cooperation and foil the outsiders' challenges to peace and reunification under the uplifted banner of the June 15 Joint Declaration. Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed article titled "national cooperation represents patriotism and leads to peace and reunification."
    The article goes on:
The cause of national reunification should be accomplished through national cooperation to meet the interests common to the nation. Under the present situation national cooperation serves as a lifeline of the nation.
All the successes made in the course of meeting the interests common to the nation over the past three years after the adoption of the June 15 Joint Declaration are a precious fruition of national cooperation.
The lesson drawn in this period is that as long as there exist outsiders, who are dead set against Korea's reunification, and anti-reunification elements, their cat's paws, the cause of national reunification can not but undergo setbacks and trials.
All the members of the nation should turn out on the road of national cooperation with patriotism if they are to implement the joint declaration to the letter and bring earlier the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
The main target of the struggle to achieve national cooperation is the U.S. and its imperialist aggression troops present in South Korea, the article says, calling on all Koreans to make all efforts to achieve national cooperation in order to frustrate the U.S. imperialists' moves to provoke a nuclear war against the DPRK and eliminate the traitors in South Korea kowtowing to and following outsiders.
