Anniversary of Kim Il Sung's demise commemorated abroad

Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- Memorial meetings took place in Jordan, Democratic Congo, Romania, Egypt, France and Pakistan from June 30 to July 4 on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's demise.
Political and public figures of those countries made speeches at the meetings.
Speakers said that 9 years have passed and the century changed since Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people, passed away, but he is always with the Korean people and the progressive people of the world.
Kim Il Sung was the greatest man who had devoted his all to the freedom and happiness of the people to the last moments of his life since he embarked on the road of the revolution in his early years, they said, adding:
Kim Jong Il, the sun of the 21st century, who is identical with Kim Il Sung, the sun of the 20th century, has successfully carried forward his revolutionary cause. And the Korean people will certainly build a great prosperous powerful nation and achieve national reunification, the desire of the nation, under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.
Lectures, seminars and film shows took place in Russia, Bulgaria, Austria, Malaysia, Singapore, Equatorial Guinea and Democratic Congo.
