Kim Jong Il nominated as candidate for SPA at electorate meetings across DPRK

    Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Electorate meetings took place at constituencies in different parts of the country to nominate candidates for deputies to the 11th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK. The participants in the meetings nominated leader Kim Jong Il as a candidate for the SPA.
    Reporters and speakers at the meetings said that the upcoming election will be an event of great political significance as it will help further strengthen and develop the DPRK government to be a political weapon for upholding Kim Jong Il's Songun idea and leadership and strikingly demonstrate the might of the single-hearted unity in the DPRK, the advantages of the man-centred socialist system of Korean style and the invincible stamina of Juche Korea.
    The reporters courteously nominated Kim Jong Il as a candidate for the 11th SPA reflecting the ardent wish and unanimous desire of all the voters and people and the speakers and the voters fully supported and approved the proposals.
    The meetings solemnly declared that Kim Jong Il has been nominated as a candidate for the SPA.
    Letters to Kim Jong Il were adopted there.
