No U.S. psychological operation will work on DPRK

    Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- The army and people of the DPRK are sure to emerge victorious in the fierce confrontation with the U.S. as long as they are led by Kim Jong Il, say papers here today in signed articles dedicated to the 20th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's famous work "Let Us Shatter Imperialist Moves Towards Aggression and War and Safeguard Peace and Independence." In the work the president laid bare the true colors of the U.S. imperialists keen to get world supremacy and called on all the peace-loving people of the world to concentrate the attack on the U.S. imperialists.
    Rodong Sinmun says that the revolutionary banner of independence against imperialism provided by the president has been held aloft by Kim Jong Il.

    Kim Jong Il's Songun policy is a decisive factor of guaranteeing a final victory of the army and people of the DPRK in the confrontation with the U.S.
    This policy is based on his determination to achieve a final victory in the life-and-death battle against the U.S. imperialists without fail and his strong national mettle to firmly defend the sovereignty and dignity of the nation with tremendous military power.
    The army and people of the DPRK are stalwartly standing guard over the forefront in the struggle against the U.S.-led imperialists, overcoming all difficulties with revolutionary faith and will.
    The Korean people have faith of sure victory and rare pluck that no one can defeat a people ready to die, high awareness to share their destiny with the headquarters of the revolution to the last and devotedly defend it in any adversity and strong principle and constancy not to abandon their revolutionary principle and conscience even though they have to subsist on gruel mixed with edible-grass, tightening their belts. Our revolutionary ranks are pervaded with this faith and will.
    Neither sinister "horror strategy" nor cunning psychological operation and bribing and destabilizing operations on the part of the U.S. imperialists can ever cut ice with such army and people.
