Koreans called upon to bring earlier national reunification by their own efforts

    Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The successful holding of the grand festival for national reunification by the north and the south to mark the 3rd anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration is a clear proof of the unbreakable will of the whole nation to achieve reunification by invariably upholding the joint declaration as the landmark of reunification despite any difficult situation. Minju Joson today says this in a signed commentary. It goes on: The June 15 joint declaration clearly indicated the road for the movement for national reunification to follow in the new century. So the Korean people enshrine it in their hearts as their firm faith for its great attraction and vitality.
    Assailing the traitorous remarks made by riff-raft of the grand national party to defame and insult the joint declaration, the commentary says: the anti-reunification elements desperately work to downplay the validity and great vitality of the June 15 joint declaration, but it is nothing but a day-dream.
    The commentary calls on the 70 million Koreans to fulfil their responsibility and role as the members of the nation in bringing earlier the reunification in the spirit of "by our nation itself" by displaying a thousand times in the future nation-wide movement for national reunification the will of the Korean nation for reunification which was displayed in the grand festival for national reunification.
