Devoted protection of headquarters of revolution called for

KCNA

    Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- Papers here today in editorials dedicated to the 39th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea say that the WPK and the Korean people will always emerge victorious as they are led by the outstanding leader. Rodong Sinmun says that June 19 is recorded as a landmark day in the Korean revolution as one more outstanding leader with unusual political caliber was held in high esteem to lead the party and the revolution.
    Kim Jong Il's history of leadership for decades is an immortal history during which he built the WPK to be a party of the leader and strengthened it to be a revolutionary party, powerful and dignified, that steers the Songun era, the paper adds.
    We should devotedly defend the headquarters of the revolution, cherishing the high pride of having the great brilliant commander at the highest post of the party and the revolution in the Songun era, the paper notes, and continues:
    The more desperate the imperialists become in their moves, the higher we should hold the banner of devotedly safeguarding the headquarters and conduct all work from the stand of protecting it.
    All the party members, the KPA servicemen and other people should unite close in the spirit of devotedly defending the headquarters and convert the revolutionary ranks into those of revolutionary comrades who remain true to the Songun policy under any circumstances.
    They should heighten vigilance against the imperialists' ideological and cultural poisoning and "psychological warfare" and invariably preserve their ideology, morality and way of living.
    Minju Joson calls upon all the people to uphold Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership with loyalty, full of conviction and optimism about sure victory and thus bring earlier the victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche.
