New viper venom injection developed

Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The zoological institute of the biology branch under the Academy of Sciences has succeeded in developing a new viper venom anti-cancer injection.
Anti-cancer medicines in general weaken the human body's immunity for their strong poisonous effect on cells during cancer treatment.
But the injection prevents the reduction of leucocyte and lymphocyte during treatment and reactivates the immunity of cancer patients so as to promote the cure.
The application of the injection to more than 60 sufferers from breast, rectum, lung and other cancers resulted in a considerable increase of immunity in their bodies.
Its efficacy is 70 to 80 percent. it has little harmful effect on human body.
With the concentrated venom is higher than other viper venom injections, it proves efficacious in the treatment of such diseases as neuralgia, rheumatism and lymph tuberculosis in a relatively short period.
It has an immediate effect on muscle rigidity, external contusion and motor disturbance by stress.
