Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)

War criminal should be judged

KCNA

Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- French, Swedish, British and other western media said that the "legitimacy" of the Iraqi war has been called into question as the united states has not found out weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, which will drive the U.S. into a more difficult position. The U.S. provocation of the Iraqi war was not aimed to "destroy weapons of mass destruction". In fact, the U.S. has long watched for a chance to invade Iraq, covetous of its rich oil. Rodong Sinmun says this today in a signed commentary.
    The news analyst goes on:
The U.S. is addressing itself to a showdown with the DPRK, making much ado about its "nuclear and missile threat".
The U.S. is kicking up a nuclear row aimed to destroy the DPRK system as in Iraq.
As the Iraqi situation showed, arms inspection is followed by disarmament and war. We, therefore, are more firmly cementing the defence power of the country under the banner of Songun.
This is an exercise of the just self-defensive right to prevent a war in the Korean Peninsula and protect the sovereignty of the country and the destiny of the nation.
We are proud of having a powerful war deterrent force. With no intrigues can the U.S. cover up its war crimes. The U.S. should be brought before the international court as a war criminal.
